Membership of Breaking Through The Network is open to groups and individuals working with, and interested in, young people at risk and those working with other vulnerable or disadvantaged members of the community. Membership includes individuals working in youth services, gardai, partnership programmes, health boards, drug task force initiatives, vocational education training centres, traveller training centres and residential care services. The Network offers members the following services:

Copies of the Network’s publications such as newsletters and annual reports -
Discount rates to the Network’s annual conference and regional events -
Opportunity to raise awareness of innovative
practices, local experiences or gaps in services on the Network’s
website/newsletter -
Participation in the development of training and information at regional events -
Contribute to the Network’s submissions made to
various government departments or agencies on issues relevant to
working with young people at risk and other vulnerable groups. Offering a collective voice in extending the rights of practitioners working in the community & voluntary sector
